It seems sort of strange to be canning more pint-size jars these days. After having a full house for so long, reverting back to preparing for two, is an adjustment. Pints or quarts doesn't seem to change the amount of mess I'm able to accomplish though. (It's cleaned up now, and no longer looks like a crime scene...whew.) We love having home-made tomato juice, spaghetti sauce, and salsa. Jen blessed us with such lovely tomatoes to work with.
